Motors and Shakers

We supply Motors and Shakers that help Simulate faults and check Calibration of Vibration Measuring Instruments and Monitoring Systems

Motor Demo Unit for Fault Simulation

Motor Demo for Fault Simulation

We supply Motor Demo unit for Fault Simulation such as Unbalance, Misalignment, Looseness, Bent Shaft, Bad Bearing and More. The Motor comes with a VFD for Speed Control between 0 Hz and 50 Hz (3000 RPM). The Motor comes with provision for mounting of Both Contact as well as Non-Contact type Vibration Sensors. Measurement such as Casing Vibration, Relative Shaft Vibration, Absolute Shaft Vibration, Phase Reference, Speed and more are possible using this Motor Demo Unit.

It comes in a Hard Suitcase with wheels with padding inside and thus can be carried around easily. It can be transported in Flights, Trains and Cars - any way. Motor rating can be specified at the time of ordering - if a bigger motor is required. Number of faults to be simulated can also be specified at time of ordering. Repair and Calibration service is available via our Service Center.

Shaker Table for Multiple Sensors Calibration Checking

GE300 - Single Axis Shaker for Multiple Vibration Sensors Calibration Checking

GE300 is a Single Axis Shaker that can be used for Calibration Checking of Multiple Vibration Sensors Simultaneously. It uses the method of Comparison as specified in ISO16063-21 Standard. A Reference Sensor with Amplitude Display is used for Comparison of Equipment Under Testing (EUT). The deviation can be assessed and it can be ascertained whether or not the EUT needs Recalibration. This Shaker can be placed on any Flat and Level Surface and it generates a Sinusoidal Vibration in the Vertical Direction at 50 or 60 Hz Frequency (dependent on Line Frequency). Shaker Table for Single Sensor Calibration Checking

GJX-3 - Shaker for Single Sensor Calibration Checking

GJX-3 is made by Beijing Sendig company in China. We are a Distributor for the same in India. This Shaker has a Knob to Control Vibration Amplitude as well as Knob to Control the Generated Vibration Frequency. It can check Calibration of 1 Vibration Sensor at a Time. It can be used to check Calibration of both Contact Type Vibration Sensors as well as Non-Contact type Vibration Sensors. To get a quote - please approach us on sales@irdmech.com. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do Shakers help in Checking Calibration of Vibration Sensors?

Shakers are able to Generate a Known amount of Vibration Amplitude at a Known Vibration Frequency. Most Shakers generate a Sinusoidal Vibration and thus it becomes easy to calculate Vibration Velocity expected as well as Vibration Displacement expected if Vibration Acceleration is known and Vibration Frequency is Known. So, the equipment under test (EUT) can be evaluated based on the known Vibration and the Deviation can be assessed to ascertain if the EUT needs Re-Calibration or Not? Or everything is under Tolerance and EUT can be used with Confidence

What faults can I simulate using a Motor Demo Unit?

You can simulate Faults such as Unbalance, Misalignment, Looseness, Bad Bearings, Bent Shaft and More using the Motor Demo Unit. You can also add or subtract faults to your liking before order placement and the Motor Demo Unit will be made and supplied as per your requirements.

What is the Warranty offered on Motor Demo Units and Shakers?

We offer 2 years Warranty from Date of Invoice on all of our Portable Instruments range including Motor Demo Units and Shakers for Calibration checking
